REPORTING SUSPECTED
CHILD ABUSE
Children deserve happy and healthy lives, free from the violation and betrayal of child abuse. Reporting suspected abuse is the important first step needed to protect and help child victims.

Child abuse continues to be a serious problem in Lehigh County, and reporting is the responsibility of every concerned person. Any person who has reason to know or suspect that a child is being abused or neglected is encouraged to report. Reports can be made anonymously.

The problem of child maltreatment will not go away on its own. If you suspect child abuse is occurring, report the abuse to the ChildLine and Abuse Registry by calling toll free, within Pennsylvania 1-800-932-0313 or to the police if the child is in immediate danger. Help is available for child victims of abuse.
