If someone you know is being abused or you even think this might be happening, it is really good to tell someone you trust so that they can get help to stop this problem. If you are in Pennsylvania you should report suspected abuse and/or neglect to the ChildLine and Abuse Registry by calling toll free, within Pennsylvania 1-800-932-0313. If you feel that it is in an emergency situation, you should call your local law enforcement immediately.
Remember, help is available for child victims of abuse. Providing for the safety and welfare of children is our most important concern. Once a suspected case of child abuse or neglect is reported, law enforcement and child protection workers move quickly to insure the alleged child victim is protected and safe from harm.
